Orange Juice collaborates with HAN

A good collaboration with educational institutions is incredibly valuable for several reasons. Orange Juice partners with the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, abbreviated as HAN. This partnership is based partly on knowledge exchange, which is important for aligning educational fields with the professional field. ICA: Informatics Communication Academy

Orange Juice has the most in common with the Informatics Communication Academy (ICA). The ICA focuses on informatics, digital media, and communication through two higher education programs: Communication & Multimedia Design (CMD) and HBO-ICT. Internships and graduation projects play a crucial role in the development of students into professionals. Orange Juice is keen to invest in the future of promising students by offering internships and graduation assignments. Transitioning into an entry-level position is not uncommon; several colleagues have joined us through an internship.

Events

Offering internships and graduation assignments is a key part of our collaboration with HAN. Additionally, we are regularly present at events, such as the ICA Presents Live Event. During this event, students present their projects. A professional jury evaluates the work and awards prizes for various categories.

During the last ICA Presents Live Event, Remco represented Orange Juice as a jury member. As an experienced marketing strategist, it was his task to evaluate the students' projects in the strategy category. This collaboration is valuable for all involved. Students receive feedback from the industry and connect with potential internship companies and employers. At the same time, we showcase Orange Juice to future colleagues.

We also highlight Orange Juice at the annual HAN career fair. Last year, Karina, Roos, and Jordi were present to represent Orange Juice and interact with students.

Investing in the quality of education

Furthermore, Orange Juice invests in the quality of education by actively providing input from the business world. Developments in our field are fast-paced, and to stay up-to-date, practical experiences from the industry are indispensable for an education. We are happy to contribute to this. For instance, a teacher has interned with us, and we occasionally organize workshops for students.
