I live in Nijmegen together with my girlfriend, though I was born in Zwolle. I spent my high school years in Arnhem and later I studied Commercial Economics. I have two younger brothers — and fun fact: one of them actually shares my birthday, just three years apart!
Since 2011, I’ve been deeply passionate about karate, a hobby that has become a big part of my life. In November 2024, I became a proud dad to a baby daughter. These days, you’ll often find me out walking with her and our dog, Bobbie.
What really appealed to me about Orange Juice is that it’s big enough to bring together a wide range of expertise under one roof, but still small enough to feel personal and connected. As an online marketer with a focus on SEO, I aim to help apply innovations in a smart, practical way — especially in a world that changes at lightning speed. I like to approach things with a fresh perspective: what truly works for our clients? What adds value, and what doesn’t? Besides strategy, I keep a close eye on planning and the financial side of projects too. I see it as a joint journey with our clients: identifying opportunities, solving challenges, and always aiming for continuous improvement.
When I set my mind to something, I dive in deep. I love getting to the bottom of things, especially when it comes to data analysis. What stands out? Where do the real opportunities lie? People often tell me they appreciate my critical — yet realistic — mindset. I’m good at zooming out, keeping the bigger picture in mind, and thinking long-term. At home, though, it’s my caring nature (and my cooking skills) that get the most appreciation!
Trying new things always gives me energy — whether it’s in my personal life or at work. I love traveling far and wide, and when dining out, I usually go for the most unfamiliar dish on the menu. One of my other passions is motorcycling! What I enjoy most about working at an agency is the variety: so many different clients, markets, and challenges. It’s a constant stream of new insights and experiences, and that’s exactly what keeps me motivated.
In five years, I want to be an expert in SEO and ahead of the curve when it comes to AI-driven optimization. There’s still so much to learn, and the digital world evolves so quickly — standing still simply isn’t for me. And on a personal note? I hope I’ll be standing on top of Machu Picchu, soaking in that breathtaking view with my own eyes.
